Description
The UN OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Program 2026 is now open for applications worldwide.
This fully funded fellowship in Switzerland is designed to provide professional experience for international people, particularly young activists fighting for fundamental human rights and social justice.
The program is open to people who speak any of the five languages: French, English, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese. The selection process involves regional and gender balance, global communities, and the current human rights situation in each region.
The first 15-20 fellows will be selected, with interviews conducted in their respective languages. If applicants have applied for Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese languages, partner universities will contribute to the selection.
The final selection will be made by the OHCHR staff. The fellowship will allow fellows to work with international human rights organizations and communities, learn from experts and human rights professionals, and make connections that will benefit their professional lives.
The program is a life-changing opportunity for young human rights activists to fight for human rights and bring positive change worldwide.
