Description of RISE Summer Internship 2025

Every year, RISE Germany 2025 offers a total of 300 scholarships for international Science and Engineering students which helps them acquire the necessary experience as well as research internships in Europe.
RISE Summer Internship 2025 is a paid internship DAAD program in Germany for students promoting exchange in the ‘natural’, ‘engineering’, and ‘life’ sciences. It is organized for three periods from 15th May to 15th July 2025.
In this program, interns will also attend RISE Germany meetings for three days in Heidelberg and are given a stipend for travel. This program is highly recommended for overseas students.

Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must be undergraduate students and should be done with at least two years of their degree by the time of the internship.
- They should be enrolled in fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering, or related fields.
- Moreover, interns must be studying at accredited universities or colleges in the USA, Canada, the UK, or Ireland to be eligible for the RISE internship.
- German citizens are eligible to apply only if they have lived continuously outside Germany for six or more years.
