Postdoc on Physical Layer Security for Free-Space Optical Satellite Channels in Netherlands

Job description

Fully funded postdoctoral scholarship in The Netherlands offering an opportunity for international applicants. This exciting position delves into the fascinating realm of physical layer security for free-space optical (FSO) satellite channels, offering you the chance to make groundbreaking advancements in a rapidly evolving field.

The project aims to enhance security by combining quantum key generation with classical key generation using physical layer security. The project, part of the LaiQa collaborative EU research project, consists of prestigious institutes, observatories, and companies across Europe. The goal is to enhance security, enable higher secure key rates, and enable longer-distance secure communications. The post-doc position involves performing secrecy analysis and developing physical layer security schemes to complement existing quantum key generation schemes.
