Eligibility/Qualification PhD Scholarship
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology
- Experience with molecular biological techniques (e.g., cell culture, PCR, qPCR, RNA isolation)
- Experience with library preparation, high-throughput genomics data generation
- Knowledge of SLIC-CAGE or CAGE protocols and eukaryotic transcriptional regulation
- Lab management skills and experience with JASPAR or UniBind databases is a plus
- Prior supervisory experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English
Job Description
The PhD candidate will:
- Conduct next-generation sequencing omics assays (SLIC-CAGE, scATAC-seq, SMF)
- Analyze and interpret bioinformatics data
- Curate data for the JASPAR database
- Write and publish scientific manuscripts
- Present research findings at seminars and conferences
- Manage day-to-day lab operations (25% duty)
