Join the BOHR21 project and embark on a journey to discover the lasting impact of physicist Niels Bohr. Funded by the European Research Council, this prestigious project delves into the impact of Bohr on the wider discussion of physics, biology, and science

Work with renowned scholars Guido Bacciagaluppi, Diana Taschetto, and Stefano Furlan. Together you will rethink Bohr’s contributions and open the door to new understandings of scientific objectivity and cooperation across disciplines.

Research Area:

  • Philosophy of Physics: Explore the fundamental questions underlying physics through the lens of Bohr’s work.
  • Philosophy of Biology: Investigate how Bohr’s ideas influenced the study of life.
  • General Philosophy of Science: Examine the broader implications of Bohr’s legacy for scientific thought.

Eligibility:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in history or philosophy of physics, biology, or general philosophy of science.
  • Demonstrate a passion for collaborative research and a desire to develop your research and teaching skills.
  • Be proficient in English. Working knowledge of Danish and German is a plus, or showing a willingness to learn.
