Job Description

  • Conduct calculus-based and laboratory exercises for bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
  • Co-supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses.
  • Design, synthesize, and characterize metal-organic compounds (MOFs).
  • Assess MOF properties in biocomposites and related fields.
  • Characterize structures using X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, and other methodologies.
  • Prepare a dissertation.
  • Support project proposal preparation.

Eligibility

  • Required: Master’s or diploma degree in technical chemistry, chemistry, or a comparable discipline.
  • Desired:
    • Excellent knowledge in the synthesis of metal-organic and zeolitic imidazole frameworks.
    • Proficiency in characterizing these compounds.
    • Teamwork and good communication skills.
    • High initiative and interest in interdisciplinary projects.
    • Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
