Research Associate / PhD Student (m/f/x)

This post, regulated under the Fixed Term Research Contracts Act, is for an initial 36 months, with a possibility of extension. Its main objective is to achieve higher academic qualifications, particularly a Doctorate degree, making it more appropriate for part-time engagement.

Requirements

University Job Application Requirements:

  • Master/Diploma in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience in quantum mechanical methods and machine learning approaches.
  • High commitment, interdisciplinary thinking, teamwork, and English communication skills.
  • Desirable hands-on experience with Fortran, Python, and PyTorch.
  • Previous computational experience in organic molecules and materials research projects.
  • The universitysity encourages women in academia and research.
