Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc, or equivalent in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a similar field)
- Wet-lab experience, particularly in genetic engineering or molecular biology
- Interest in synthetic biology
- Proficiency in English (Excellent Level)
- Must be a doctoral candidate and not have resided or conducted their main activity in Germany for more than 12 months in the 36 months before recruitment
Job Description
The core aim of the project is to design and optimize analyte-responsive ribozymes for improved detection of analyst molecules through in vitro selection and screening. The position is full-time, with a 36-month employment contract. The first 23 months are covered by MSCA-DN with a living allowance and potential family allowance, followed by a continuation under the TU Darmstadt collective agreement for the remaining period.
