Erasmus Mundus PROMISE Scholarship 2025 is a fully-funded scholarship for international students on merit who wish to pursue a master’s degree in Sustainable Mineral and Metal Processing Engineering.
The European Commission funds the program to promote academic excellence and cultural exchange. The scholarship also aims to train the best mineral processing postgraduates and produce future leaders in the sector. It examines critically the role of mineral processing in the global economy and provides relevant information on sustainable raw material utilization.
However, it aims towards improving education for future mineral processing and engineers, the building of capable professionals with resource-efficient management skills, and the creation of new synergies in the development of sustainable mineral processing.
The Erasmus PROMISE Scholarship program promises technical skills in energy and water savings, creates cultural awareness, and fosters collaboration among students from different countries.
The program runs over two years, during which students complete part of their master’s degree in different European countries.
Physical mobility is a requirement of this program: at least two semesters studying in two different European countries, one of them being an Erasmus+ Program Country. So, the students will spend their first semester in Finland, second in Austria, third in Croatia or Chile, and fourth semester working on their thesis in one of the partner countries.
