The Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research is a collaborative effort involving the University of Cologne, the University Hospital Cologne, the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, and the Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research.
For bright scholars, we have twelve sponsored doctoral posts available, from the 1st of July to the 1st of October in the year 2025. The well-organized course starts at a personal level and remuneration depends on the German TV-L E13 range.

Requirements
- Only highly qualified and motivated candidates, who possess an MSc or equivalent degree in one of the following fields: Biology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Genetics, Medical Biology or Translational Medicine.
- Students who have proven their motivation and interest in these fields of research by obtaining excellent grades during their BSc as well as MSc studies.
- Candidates must possess excellent proficiency in English (C1 level; both speaking and writing).
