Are you interested in studying gas separation? Umeå University Faculty of Science and Technology offers an Ph.D. scholarship on research covering gas separation where carbon molecular sieve membranes are developed. This four-year post involves research and advanced studies for postgraduates. Job Description
- Conduct research on the design and synthesis of polymers, and fabrication of carbon molecular sieve membranes.
- Participate in research and postgraduate courses.
- Use cutting-edge gas separation facilities and equipment.
- Contribute to advancing the understanding and development of materials for gas separation applications.
- Engage in teaching and other departmental work (up to 20%).

Eligibility:
- Completed second-cycle degree or 240 ECTS credits, with at least 60 ECTS at the second-cycle level.
- First-cycle courses of at least 90 ECTS in Chemistry or a related field, with at least 15 ECTS at the second-cycle level within the specialization.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interest in polymer chemistry, membranes, and gas separation.
- Creativity, independence, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work collaboratively.
