Eligibility/Qualification
- A two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or equivalent.
- Experience with genome and protein sequence analysis, and Python programming, preferably within enzyme biotechnology.
- Practical experience with carbohydrate processing enzymes, or SQL is a major advantage.
- Must not have worked in Denmark before.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel for MSCA GLYCO-N activities.
Project Description
The PhD project will be a part of an international and interdisciplinary research training program under the GLYCO-N network. The focus is on pioneering advanced digitalization methods to map and predict the function of new enzymes, enhancing knowledge in enzyme Bioinformatics and discovery research. This position promises a solid foundation for a career in enzyme protein research, supported by a highly collaborative team at DTU.
